Jets Named Landing Spot For Former No. 1 Pick Qb, Pro Bowler
The New York Jets may examine other quarterbacks if Zach Wilson doesn't improve.
Bleacher Report's Joe Tansey thinks so. He penned a column on Wednesday, September 20, regarding three trade prospects the team could pursue.
He called it “unfair” that the NFL is condemning Wilson after just one start against one of the league's greatest defenses, but “that's exactly” what is happening.
His career has been up and down, including a 2015 Pro Bowl, but he is now a backup quarterback.
Due of his experience, Tansey said Winston would be one of the Jets' “most logical quarterbacks” to target.
Tansey suggested Winston may have his greatest chance at being an NFL starting quarterback with the Jets.
